Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 30 September 2026

Trustcomm exists to help genuine customers share honest feedback. Using it for anything else can get your Google Business Profile penalised — and your Trustcomm account closed. This policy is part of the Terms of Service.

You must not

  • Create reviews for people who did not visit. No reviews by you, your staff, family or friends posing as customers; no scanning your own QR code to post reviews.
  • Generate reviews in bulk, or use Trustcomm's drafts for anything other than a real customer's own review of their own visit.
  • Pay or reward customers for Google reviews — no discounts, gifts or offers in exchange for posting. (Offering something for feedback in general, to every customer whatever they say, is a separate matter; never make it depend on a Google review or on a good rating.)
  • Filter who reaches Google. Do not ask only happy customers to scan, or steer unhappy ones away from Google. Trustcomm offers every customer both choices; do not work around that.
  • Pressure customers into a rating, into posting, or into changing what they wrote.
  • Misuse customers' details. A phone number left with a private message is for replying to that message only. Do not add customers to marketing lists without their consent, and stop at once if they ask.
  • Impersonate another business or person, or put Trustcomm's QR code somewhere it misleads people about who they are reviewing.
  • Upload anything unlawful, or content you do not have the right to use.
  • Attack, overload, probe, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or try to reach another shop's data.

What happens if you do

We may remove content, pause your shop's QR code, or close your account. Where the problem can be fixed, we will usually warn you first. We may report unlawful activity to the authorities.
